The weeks are going by faster and faster as week approach the end of the school year. This has been a memorable school year. The children have enjoyed so much this year. They were so lucky to have been face to face with a classroom teacher since October 2020.
The advance math student took their final math test of the school year. I will grade them over the weekend and record their grades into Infinite Campus. Also, on level math students will take their final test in two weeks. On level math students will continue to work on arrays, repeated addition, and graphing. All students should practice their addition and multiplication facts. On level math students will begin the introduction next week.
All this week students worked on IREADY reading skills and reading independently while I tested students individually. I should be finished within the next couple of weeks. This week we worked on narrative writing. Students should be able to identify what goes into narrative writing (Beginning, Middle, and End).
Finally, students wrapped up the week learning about scarcity, opportunity cost, and benefits of choices. Ask them to tell you about opportunity cost and scarcity.
